Almaty City Day 2026

Concerts, festivals, fairs, film screenings, national games, and family events will take place across the city.

September 19

Zhibek Zholy Street — Kitap Fest
12:00–18:00 — a large book festival with more than 50 publishers and bookshops taking part. The venue will also host concerts, live band performances, ethno-fusion, theater, and other programs.

Astana Square — Almaty Vibes
During the day — a city concert featuring Kazakhstani performers and creative groups.
18:00–22:00 — Almaty Vibes festival: KALIFARNIYA, ALPHA, Yerke Yesmakhan, AYREE, Miras Zhuginisov, and other artists.

Alatau Theater
19:00 — the concert “Än men küidin besigi” with well-known performers and the Kurmangazy National Orchestra of Folk Instruments.

Abay Square — Otbasy Fest
All day — a family festival with an apple zone, artisans’ town, children’s playground, AI & Robot Zone, games, and a food court.
During the day — circus, folklore, and theater programs.
In the evening — DJ set, Ratovich, and Best of NE PROSTO ORCHESTRA.

September 20

Panfilov Street — Alma Qala Fest
A large city festival dedicated to Almaty and its main symbol — the apple.

• more than 200 tons of Almaty aport and other apple varieties
• ethno, eco, and digital zones
• sports and children’s zones
• film and craft workshops
• food court
• AI projects about the history of Almaty

Concerts and shows will also take place near the Zhurgenov Academy of Arts.

Zhibek Zholy Street — Kitap Fest
12:00–18:00 — the second day of the book festival: books, concerts, live bands, ethno-fusion, and theater performances.

Opening of Masanchi Gastronomic Street
16:00 — opening of Almaty’s first gastronomic street on the section of Masanchi Street between Abay and Satpayev avenues.

New restaurants and cafés, walking areas, a bike lane, and relaxation spaces will appear here. An acoustic concert will be held in honor of the opening.

Astana Square — Almaty Zhuldyzy
18:00–22:30 — a large evening concert. On stage: Roza Rymbayeva, Dos-Mukasan, Kesh You, Yalla. The evening’s headliner is DJ Imanbek.

Abay Square — Otbasy Fest
All day — theater, music, family activities, and DJ sets.
19:00 — D Billions.
Afterwards — the big concert “Almaty äuenderi” until 22:00.

Alatau Theater
19:00–20:30 — the festive program “With Love to Almaty.”
