Sandyq

Sandyq is an ethno-restaurant of Kazakh cuisine in the center of Almaty. The concept is built around revived recipes collected during expeditions across Kazakhstan’s regions: the menu features meat and dairy dishes, baked goods, desserts, and national drinks with a modern presentation.

The interior is designed as a space about traditional everyday life: carpets, chests, wooden and ceramic tableware are used, with a special focus on the kumys bar.
