Atyrau Bridge

The Atyrau Bridge is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge across the Esil in Astana, connecting the right-bank embankment with the park area near Central Park. It opened on July 1, 2018, as a gift from Atyrau Region for the capital’s anniversary. The bridge’s shell resembles fish scales and evokes the Caspian sturgeon; inside are a pedestrian lane and a cycle path, while the span offers views of the river and the city center.
