Lake Zerendi

Zerendi is a lake in the Zerendi District of Akmola Region, near the village of the same name and the Zerendi Hills. The reservoir forms part of the natural landscape of Kokshetau National Park: its shores alternate between sandy stretches, reeds, and pine-birch forest. Visitors come here for quiet relaxation by the water, walks along forest trails, fishing, and views of low granite hills; recreation centers and equipped beach areas operate along the shores.
