Jumeirah Mosque

Jumeirah Mosque is one of Dubai’s well-known mosques, located in the Jumeirah 1 area. The building opened in 1979 and was built in a style associated with the architectural traditions of Syria and Egypt; the prayer hall accommodates around 1,500 people. The mosque hosts the majlis of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding: guests are offered introductory visits covering Islam, Emirati culture, ablution, and mosque etiquette.
