Burabay

Burabay is a state national nature park in Akmola Region in northern Kazakhstan, about 260 km from Astana. The area includes pine forests, granite hills, and a system of lakes, including Burabay, Shchuchye, and Bolshoye Chebachye. Routes here lead to the Okzhetpes and Zhumbaktas rocks, the Ybyrai Trail, caves, and viewpoints. The place is notable for its combination of the resort history of Borovoye, a protected natural area, and lakeside recreation.
