National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a major library and information center in Astana on the Left Bank, near Baiterek and Nurzhol Boulevard. The institution was established in 2004 and opened to readers in 2005; its collection includes books, periodicals, multimedia materials, and electronic resources.

Inside are reading rooms, an electronic catalog, event spaces, and a Book Museum with materials on the history of Kazakh writing and publishing.
