Zheruyik Park

Zheruyik Park is a city park in the Almaty District of Astana, on the right bank of the Yesil River. It occupies the block between Baurzhan Momyshuly and Magzhan Zhumabayev avenues, and Abylai Khan and Mailin streets. The park has shady alleys, lawns, children’s and sports playgrounds, seasonal attractions, and walking areas. Notable features include a monument to General Ivan Panfilov; in winter, an ice rink and a tubing hill usually operate here.
