Zhetysu Park

Zhetysu Park is a city park on the left bank of the Esil River in Astana, near the Shubar district. The former Arai Park was reconstructed for the capital’s 20th anniversary and given a Semirechye theme: it features Aport Square, a decorative Ili River with a miniature Lake Balkhash, alleys, fountains, and replicas of natural symbols of Almaty Region. The park has walking and cycling paths, children’s and sports grounds, the Korean Garden, and seasonal attractions.
