Alau Ice Palace

Alau Ice Palace is an indoor speed-skating stadium in the sports cluster on Astana’s Left Bank. The complex was opened for the 7th Asian Winter Games; its main arena is used for speed skating, hockey, figure skating, short track and public skating sessions. Inside there is a 400-metre ice track, hockey rinks, training halls and competition facilities, making the venue interesting both as a sports facility and as an example of the capital’s modern architecture.
