Balkaragai Recreation Area

Balkaragai is a countryside recreation area in the green belt not far from Astana. The complex is set among forest plantations and is designed for family trips, short getaways from the city, and events. The grounds include hotel rooms and log cabins, a restaurant, a banquet hall, grill gazebos, an equestrian center, saunas, and walking areas. In summer, a swimming pool and active entertainment are available; in winter, tubing, skiing, skating, and other seasonal services are offered.
