Kaindy Lake

Mountain Lake

Kaindy Lake is a surreal turquoise lake located about 4–5 hours east of Almaty, near the village of Saty. Formed after an earthquake in 1911, it’s famous for its submerged forest — tall spruce trees rising from the clear blue water. Surrounded by mountains and pine forests, it’s a popular destination for hiking, camping, and photography.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours (best season: May–September).
Address: Saty Village, Kolsai Lakes National Park, Almaty Region.

The price for this tour starts at $50 (The final price is calculated based on the number of guests, the specific request, timing, and several other factors.)
